Attorney Percy has extensive experience counseling both private and public sector clients with respect to retirement and pension issues. Mr. Percy has developed many retirement and section 125 cafeteria plans and counseled numerous clients on qualified domestic relations orders. In addition he has handled extensive litigation, both civil and criminal, before the United States Tax Court, The United States District Court, the Connecticut Superior Court, the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.
Attorney Percy is a member of the American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association, where he is a member of the Tax Section Executive Committee. Attorney Percy is named in Best Lawyers in America® and is a Connecticut Super Lawyer®.
Attorney Percy received his B.M.E. from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute and his law degree from the University of Connecticut. Before entering private practice Attorney Percy was senior trial attorney for the Chief Counsel’s Office of the IRS in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Connecticut from 1973 to 1986.
